"Noises Off" Begins in July

 "NOISES OFF" AT NAPA VALLEY COLLEGE

 The Napa Valley College Fine & Performing Arts Division has announced "Noises Off" by Michael Frayn as its first summer 2001 theater production.

      This world-famous farce tells the story of a third-rate touring British theater company producing a play called "Nothing On."  Mishaps and mayhem combine with romantic triangles and slapstick humor to create a raucous, fun-filled evening of theater.  The cast includes Jonathan Wright, Bridget Bisconer, David Gassner, Tina Albro, Heatherly Esh, Phil Mitchell, Noel Freitas, Ben Stowe and Walter Phelps.

      Performances are July 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, August 3 and 4 at 8 p.m.  and July 15, 22, 29 and August 5 at 2 p.m. in the Napa Valley College theater.  Advance sale tickets at $10 general admission and $8 for students, seniors (60+) will go on sale beginning July 2.

      Parking is free and the Napa Valley College theater is equipped with an assisted hearing system.

"Noises Off" Pay What You Can Proceeds to Establish New Scholarship

For Immediate Release: -July 2, 2001

PAY WHAT YOU CAN OPENING NIGHT FOR "NOISES OFF" AT NAPA VALLEY COLLEGE

     The Napa Valley College Fine & Performing Arts Division has announced a special ticket price for the opening night performance of "Noises Off."

     For opening night only, Friday, July 13th, tickets will be available on a "pay what you can" basis.  Proceeds from this performance will be used to establish the Mary K. Adams Drama Scholarship Award at Napa Valley College.

This award is in recognition of Ms. Adams' 21 years of invaluable, continuing participation in and support of the Drama Program. 

      Tickets will be available at the door at 7PM on the evening of performance.  Parking is free and the Napa Valley College Theatre is equipped with an assisted hearing system.
